‘Tis the season for right-wing hacks to grumble about politically correct phrases like “Happy Holidays” and “Seasons Greetings” and the lack of religious symbolism on Christmas cards. So, here’s my religiously symbolic card to wish everyone of all faiths and none a very Merry Christmas.

Sweet. I’m sure I’m offended, somehow. Just can’t quite figure out why. It all looks so familiar yet… different. Hmm, yeah, must be Santa’s glum look.
So, Jesus walks into a hotel, hands the receptionist a wooden cross and some nails, and asks if they can put him up for the night…
Sorry. But it’s better than the one about Jesus biting his nails…

Reminds me that nobody else cared enough to get up on a cross and do what was absolutely necessary to take down the wall between me and a holy God. Thank you, Jesus.
